MOSAIC STUDENT ARTIST PROGRAM FIRST FRIDAY ART SALE

The talented student artists in Blue Star Contemporary’s MOSAIC Student Artist Program have artwork for sale! In addition to the work by current participants in BSC’s MOSAIC Gallery exhibition, Impression, stop by the Art Learning Lab during First Friday to pursue prints, drawings, and other 2-D artworks to add to your collection. Once a year, BSC’S MOSAIC program hosts a special art sale featuring artwork by past MOSAIC participants who wish to donate proceeds from the sale of their work to support art education at BSC. This is your chance to support arts education at BSC and collect the work of an emerging artist.

MOSAIC is a year-round after-school studio intensive program for area teens that also teaches students the business of art. In the MOSAIC Studio, students are provided mentorship, along with professional supplies to pursue studies in drawing, painting, printmaking, and sculpture, with a focus on learning traditional techniques. The MOSAIC Gallery operates as a commercial space for students learn about pricing artwork, hanging exhibitions, creating titles and exhibition statements, and building relationships with art collectors.
