The King William Association’s Public Art Committee has finally seen nearly a year of work and preparation be rewarded by the designation of “Cultural Arts District” by the Texas Commission of the Arts. The neighborhood, first to be recognized as a “Historic Neighborhood” in the state of Texas now adds this honor. There are many artists galleries and venues in the district and this confluence of history and art are being given this recognition so that even more visitors to San Antonio will be aware of it.
