“Riverwalk Reflections” extended

 

San Antonio Artist Donna Simon, “Riverwalk Reflections.”
Due to the enthusiastic response and requests, the exhibition will continue through November 30

The King William Association office at 122 Madison St, 78204.
The exhibit of paintings can be viewed Mon-Fri 9 a.m. until 3 p.m.

Donna Simon. Donna has been a resident of King William for 27 years. In her frequent walks along the San Antonio River and through the neighborhood, she has been inspired to create paintings to celebrate her inspiration. The painting titled, “Riverwalk Wall #21” will be the centerpiece of the exhibit.

Donna has been involved in the San Antonio art community for many years as a painter, founding board member of SAY Si, a Kronkosky Fellow at the McNay Art Museum, and a teacher at Brackenridge High School and at St Mary’s University. From 2006 until 2017 She directed SEEING ART SAN ANTONIO TOURS. 
Previously, Donna was a lecturer for the Contemporary Art Appreciation classes at the Chautauqua Institute in upstate New York.
Donna studied at Hofstra University in New York; University of the Arts and Tyler School of Art in Pennsylvania, and Ohio State University. She has received numerous awards and her artwork has been featured in art shows in San Antonio since 2004.
